Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Airport Arrival and Kandy Cultural Welcome
Travel to Kandy and experience its sacred heritage and traditional entertainment.
Meet your tour guide at Bandaranaike International Airport and travel to Kandy. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and attend a cultural show at a local auditorium. End the day with an authentic Sri Lankan dinner at your hotel.
Day 2 — Matale, Dambulla and Sigiriya Exploration
Discover temples, village traditions and the remarkable Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Leave Kandy early for visits to Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil and the National Spice Garden of Sri Lanka. Continue to Dambulla Cave Temple to admire its murals and Buddha statues. Enjoy a Sigiriya village tour with a traditional lunch before climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the late afternoon. Return to Kandy for the night.
Day 3 — Crafts, Pinnawala and Colombo
Discover local craftsmanship and visit Pinnawala before continuing to Colombo.
Check out from your Kandy hotel and visit a gem museum and outlets featuring woodcarving, silk and batik. Continue to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage before travelling to Colombo. After checking in, enjoy an optional sunset walk along Galle Face Green or dinner at a coastal seafood restaurant.
Day 4 — Colombo Sightseeing and Departure
Enjoy time-dependent city sightseeing before your airport transfer.
Arrange the final day according to your flight schedule. If time permits, enjoy a Colombo city tour before proceeding to Bandaranaike International Airport.
